Jesus was a carpenter.
Socrates was a stonemason.
Buddha was a coddled prince.

Joseph Smith was a farmer.

Wow, Joey... I never knew. I always wondered why we always squeezed our food out of toothpaste tubes.

Muhammed was a traveling salesman? Interesting. I mean I knew about his whole world-domination gig, but...

I was up in the area where Smith was from a couple years back. Talk about cultural memory... he is still remembered for wife-stealing and whatnot... not a fondly remembered fellow in those parts.

I knew Kurt Warner was a grocery store bagger. I also knew he was on the Packers. And guess what? Favre was there before Kurt Warner, and he's still playing after Kurt Warner. And Brett Favre will play this year, and next year, and still be good.

I like Kurt Warner, don't get me wrong. I just think Favre is taken for granted nowadays by Packer fans.

Warner was fun to watch. It's too bad his time came and went so fast.
