a bit of a ditty...
My soul is of the desert
My love is of the sea
Between them stand vast mountains
And dark forests thick with trees.
I thought to dig a tunnel
And then to cut a road
But I have no ax or shovel
Nor a mule to bear the load.
My love is of the sea
Between them stand vast mountains
And dark forests thick with trees.
I thought to dig a tunnel
And then to cut a road
But I have no ax or shovel
Nor a mule to bear the load.

My soul I lost in Georgia
For a chance at a melodious sound.
And oh for a love
but so far none is found.
For a soul I'd dig a tunnel
For love I'd cut a road
No matter for ax or shovel
No matter how heavy the load.

With no ax, shovel, or donkey
And an empty place in my soul,
My life seems so empty.
What could fill this hole?
Two tacos for a dollar,
Or the all-you-can-eat buffet?
If I indulge my appetites,
Will this emptiness go away?

Dynamite. Much easier.
